A Long Weekend Diving in Cebu
Sheltered by the surrounding Visayan islands, Cebu enjoys year-round tropical weather, making it the perfect destination for a long weekend of world-class diving, colourful coral reefs and crystal-clear seas. Based on Mactan Island, you'll explore vibrant marine ecosystems before unwinding at a luxury beachfront resort.
Day 1
Arrival in Cebu
Upon arrival in Cebu, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your beachfront resort on Mactan Island.
After settling in, meet your dive team for a personalised fitting and equipment briefing before heading out for your first afternoon dive amongst the vibrant coral reefs just offshore. As darkness falls, those who wish can experience the fascinating world of night diving, when reef creatures emerge under the cover of darkness.
Day 2
Diving the Reefs of Mactan
Spend the day exploring some of Cebu's outstanding dive sites, accompanied by experienced local guides.
With calm waters and exceptional visibility throughout much of the year, Mactan offers colourful coral gardens, dramatic walls, fascinating macro life and the chance to encounter turtles, reef sharks and schools of tropical fish. Between dives, return to the resort to relax before heading back out for a second dive. For keen divers, an optional night dive offers another opportunity to experience the reef after sunset.
Day 3
At leisure
Following two days of diving, enjoy a slower pace as your body completes the recommended surface interval before flying.
Unwind by the pool or on the beach, indulge in a spa treatment, or simply enjoy the facilities of your resort while overlooking the turquoise waters of the Visayas.
Day 4
Departure
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
- Explore some of the Philippines' finest diving sites, with vibrant coral gardens, dramatic walls and abundant marine life
- Enjoy up to six guided dives, including optional night dives, with expert instructors and small groups
- Unwind at a luxury beachfront resort on Mactan Island, with time to relax between dives
- Spend your final afternoon enjoying the resort's spa, pool or white-sand beach before your onward journey
